Joe: Thanks for taking the time to sit with me today,
Nick: No problem.
Joe: I've recently come across some of your past history. So you've been living in Reno a long time now.
Nick: Yeah, pretty much my whole life. Nevada's the place to be. Lots of mountains and bushes for, you know, taking care of business.
Joe: Naturally, yes. How did you come to find the sanctuary?
Nick: Pure luck! I had a Foster Mom named Peggy, the sweetest person ever. But the house got to be crowded after a while....
Nick: Yeah, young dogs, you know what I mean. They make a lot of racket.
Joe: Not your style, obviously.
Nick: Oh, no. I leave all the fussing to those young whipper snappers. So, we needed a solution and Peggy informed me that I was on the Potential Adoptee List at Homer J's Senior Dog Sanctuary! I played it cool when Peggy told me, you know, not wanting to get my hopes up. She told me the good news when Ted called.
Joe: And the rest is pumpkin history.
Nick: Exactly. Ted has introduced me to the wonders of frisbee golf, Plumas Park, and the Trukee River.
Joe: That's awesome.
Nick: Yeah, it is! Well, thanks for checkin in, Joe. Everything's goin' A-OK at Homer J's Senior Dog
